The challenge
Hook were looking to develop their concept for their second restaurant in the O2, where a brighter and more impactful design was required in this highly competitive environment.
The solution
We created the ‘Maritime’ concept incorporating colours, textures and patterns related to fishing and the sea. It was important to inject more colour, playfulness and sustainability and this was achieved through blue washes on plywood, suspended nets holding large spherical lighting and the use of recycled plastics resembling the rippling of water.
