The Challenge
To turn a run-down local coaching inn into a destination pub, restaurant & hotel. It was important to retain the warmth and atmosphere of a good local pub as we introduced double Michelin Star chefs formally of Marcus Wareing’s The Berkeley.

The Solution
Excellence without pretension is at the heart of our design. Situated in the once hotly contested ‘debatable land’ of England & Scotland we incorporated touches of both into the branding and interior design – tweed and tartan fabrics throughout and the thistle and rose in the logo. Our design also included 9 cosy and stylish bedrooms.
